Search Process

  • When AP Recruiters takes on a new search, we begin by getting to know our client.  We learn about the company’s culture, its history, and its current business objectives.
  • A site visit is conducted whenever possible.  Of course, we also learn all the details of the position, everything from the necessary skill set and experience to what the employee’s day-to-day job will include. Key to our search process is understanding the performance objectives and key deliverables for the position witin three months and at the one year anniversary.
  • Then, we begin our search. AP Recruiters knows where to find potential candidates.  We generates leads, networks in professional circles, and utilizes multi-industry databases.
  • We screen candidates, not just for their skills and goals, but also for their suitability for the organization.  AP Recruiters utilizes behavioral, performance, comparative analysis, and cultural assessments.
  • AP Recruiters does not oversell a job to potential candidates. It is not our purpose to make a quick placement. Rather, it is our purpose to find candidates who will be happy in the position initially and with the organization long-term, thereby contributing to our client’s ability to meet business objectives.
  • A single AP Recruiter  professional manages the search throughout the process.
  • AP Recruiters  works both on a retained search and a contingency basis – depending on the situation.  When the point is achieving strategic personnel results, you can turn to AP Recruiters.
